This poster is inspired by the song "Heals my Heart" by Stop Light Observations. The lyrics "Dancing in the living room to our favorite Frank O. tune" are captivating and was the driving force behind this creation.
The idea of pollution on the beach bums me out, so I wanted to create an eye grabbing, comic-like info graphic to put on beach peers that would make people stop and think “Hmm.. maybe I won’t throw my cigarette butt on the beach this time.”
To convey the fun and edgy spirit of Glass Animals' discography, I wanted to make a band poster that encapsulated just that. To create a playful energy, I gave the poster a hand drawn, warm feel to draw viewers in.
The goal is always to make information that isn’t so fun when written in 12pt font and Times New Roman just a little more digestible and fun to experience... which is why I chose to combine four different patterns as well as the infamously most hated on font--- Comic sans!!!!
This poster was made to represent different images presented in one of my clients favorite songs.
Sometimes we just need some extra creative juice... and that's okay! So I created this to represent that feeling of running dry, but in the process, I gained back creative juice!
